Statement

I received a second degree in fine arts at Alfred University, after which I joined the Ink Shop.
       I like to blend science with art.  Art teaches me about science and science helps me organize what I know. Both are connected to discovery, which is really a different way of connecting disparate things. I guess that is what we are alive for, to make connections.
    My art begins with materials and a sense of curiosity.  I like to connect opposites and put incongruous things together.  I love the challenge of exploring the unknown.
