Intro to Boxmaking

In this two day boxmaking course, students will learn three structures, the lidded box, the hinged box, and the clamshell box. We will cover all of the basics, including component measuring and cutting, box assembling, and covering the boxes with decorative paper and book cloth. These boxes are ideal for protecting treasured objects and operating as book enclosures. Students will leave the workshop with three finished boxes and the skills to continue boxmaking on their own!
