Intro to Screen Printing

Learn the basics of screenprinting: how to prepare your screen, mix inks, register a three-color screenprint and edition.  The printing techniques we will explore will be: contact paper stencils, crayon block-out stencils, and drawing fluid resist.    It is not necessary to have any prior knowledge of screenprinting or printmaking.  Please bring sketches or ideas to work on and you are welcome to bring other materials such as wood and fabric to try printing on. Screenprinting is one of the easiest and most flexible printmaking methods.
